The Effects of COVID-19 on Behavioral Health

When the pandemic began, most people expected the coronavirus would be a short disruption to their daily lives. As the months have elapsed, the concerns for physical health have given way to concerns over mental health. Kristin Greco, PAR’s CEO, recently participated in a thought leader forum with the Tampa Bay Business Journal on what the pandemic means for mental and behavioral health as well as what employers should be concerned with as the current situation evolves.
The webinar covered a variety of topics, including:
- How organizations can address anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges due to the COVID-19 crisis.
- How PAR has addressed current issues in mental health by making more products available on a digital platform for telehealth services.
- Ways employers can provide resources for mental health and wellbeing, including how they can help reduce the stigma around mental health needs.
- Resources for schools, including remote performance-based assessments as well as tools that track trauma.
